Hmmm…..What questions come to mind for spring cleaning in my garden? Well, to start, with our challenging weather, when should I clean out my perennials? Does it matter how far back they are trimmed? Are grasses different? Can the cuttings be composted? Should I fertilize or add compost to the soil at this time? Should I refresh my mulch? If yes, what type is best to use? How about my bushes – when is the best time to prune them? Should my bushes be fertilized now? My trees are starting to leaf out, is it too late to prune them? Should I fertilize my trees and if so, what is the best fertilizer to use?
These questions and many others will be answered for you at our first event of the summer for the Great Garden Series.
If you already have questions, please email them to bjohnson283@msn.com before the event. Otherwise, bring your questions with you and we will gather them at the door. We look forward to seeing you at our first Great Garden Series for the summer! We look forward to seeing you at our first Great Garden Series for the summer!
