Lost Opportunities: Emotion in Stories


How can writers make sure their stories are emotionally stirring, not just during big plot events, but continuously?

What are some practical tools writers can use to enhance the emotional impact of their work in progress?

We'll discuss these questions at our March meeting of Writers & Scribblers.

W&S is a group for writers of all kinds to learn, practice, and share the art and craft of writing. Our main purpose is to try to help each other through the maze of things you must do as writers; from writing to editing and on to publishing and marketing your books, short stories, essays, or anything else. Discussion topics will vary and sometimes repeat depending upon the needs of the members at the time. W&S is a group for writers of all kinds to learn, practice, and share the art and craft of writing. Join us every second Wednesday of the month.
