Have you ever wanted to enter (and possibly win) a gorgeous gladiola or stunning summer squash at the La Plata County Fair, but you just weren’t sure how to prepare that blue-ribbon entry? Well, here is your chance! Come learn from the vegetable and floriculture judges about the rules, techniques, and guidelines for entering any vegetable or flower to this years Fair. Heather Houk, Lisa Bourey, and Carol Wallace will share tips on how to plan and enter the County Fair and (with any luck), you too will leave with a few ribbons in your pocket.
