Join Durango Poet Laureate, Esther Belin for a fast and furious head-to-head tournament style poetry battle.

Meet us downtown at The Subterrain (900 Main Ave F) for the event. How does the Duel work? You’ll get a random prompt, then whip up a bit of verse, and perform your impromptu work against the opponent with the same prompt. Audience applause will determine who moves to the next round. Come to test your wits or just to cheer on the brave wordsmiths. Sign ups are limited to the first 20 contestants!
