April's Topic: We Are Unsafe: Horrible Times and Good Stories
Why are the most horrific times in our lives the very best thing for a story? When is terror ever 'nourishing' for a writer? How do writers harness their fear into fuel for their work?
We'll discuss these topics and more at our April meeting of Writers & Scribblers. Attendants are encouraged to bring a page of their own work in progress to share aloud, if they like. The group is open to those interested in writing and the publishing process. Meetings are run by using a 'pass the torch' method; everyone is encouraged to participate, but it is not a requirement.
We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:15 p.m. at the Durango Public Library.
Overlooking the Animas River, the Durango Public Library and Botanical Gardens is one of the most popular gathering spots in our community.
