With Candace Nadon, associate English professor, Fort Lewis College.
In this workshop, we’ll discuss the factors necessary to make a great first page of a novel, no matter the genre, and examine those factors in action in some stellar first pages. We’ll also spend some time writing and workshopping our own first pages, so please come with your novel ideas. This session is designed not only to help you begin the kind of novel that readers can’t put down but inspire you to submit to the Durango Public Library’s November First Page Contest!
