About workshop host Judy Livingston:
I grew up in Colorado and learned to sew in 4th grade as part of 4H Club. I have been quilting for 45 years and teaching students to quilt and sew for 30 years. I have lectured and taught classes to guilds and at quilt shops in the US and in Europe. In 1995, I became the sales manager for a wholesale distributor’s catalog of quilting books. After nearly 6years of wholesale experience, I started designing quilts and publishing. I have self-published 2 books and wrote numerous patterns for fabric lines and McCall’s Quilting Magazine. I worked for EE Schenck and Maywood Studio in Portland, Oregon in fabric sales and development for 12 years starting in 2004. I retired in 2015 after working as a sales rep and trade show coordinator. I still enjoy teaching part-time.
