"Poetry as Narrative: Telling a Story Through Verse" Poetry is often associated strictly with rhyming and meter, but its power extends far beyond those traditional structures. In this workshop, we will explore how poetry serves as a narrative medium, utilizing intentional language, vivid imagery, and prose-like elements to weave compelling stories. Participants will examine diverse examples of how poets use narration as a catalyst for storytelling, expanding the boundaries of the craft to create deeply resonant narrative works.
