Make This Moment Your Moment- A Poetry Workshop (and reading) with Lisa C. Taylor
A writer is always present, looking at shadows the sun makes on asphalt or a particular cloud formation. How can the awareness of the finite time you have here on earth make your poetry more alive? As you pay close attention to the ordinary details of life, you will find a way to anchor these observations in poems or whatever form organically emerges. You are welcome to adapt any of these writing exercises to any form. If you aspire to (or already are) a poet or writer, you know that writing daily, even for a few minutes, will make you a better writer. Join me for an exploration of how poetry (and writing) can sharpen your awareness and enrich your experience of living in our flawed yet gorgeous world.
